Biography

Kateri is a graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of the Arts in Dance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. A love of photography encouraged Kateri to pursue an Associates of Applied Science degree at The Art Institute of Colorado in Photography.

Kateri has a deep understanding of dance and its choreography. As a dancer, Kateri has studied with many artists in several different disciplines including ballet, modern, pointe, jazz and aerial. She has studied under artists such as Bill Evans, Karola Luttringhaus, Margaret Wilson, Nancy Smith, Marsha Fay Knight, Martha Graham Dance Company and Frequent Flyers Productions.

Kateri is now able to combine her passion for dance with her knowledge of computers and photography to create Pointe Photo Productions. Kateri takes her personal knowledge of dance and choreography to produce photos that are vivid and accurately capture the choreography as well as the artistry of the dancers.

Pointe Photo Productions provides digital event photography of not only dance productions but also weddings, engagements, senior portraits and all types of family portraiture. Pointe Photo Productions aims to provide the best digital photography, with the most options to allow the guest to design photos that capture their true personality.
